This year I finished 23 books, which is a bit fewer than the 35 I finished last year. I'm still reasonably happy with my reading, though I hope to bump my reading back up in 2025.

Compared to 2023:

• I returned to mostly commuting by car instead of by BART, so I had less time in my day set aside for reading
• I wasn't as good about avoiding getting stuck on slow books. There were a couple times of year when I was stubbornly trying to finish a book instead of picking up something new, which slowed my overall reading progress.
